Ding dong, darling ( Val Garland’s staple saying )encapsulates season 4 of Glow Up which is finally back with a new season on Netflix. That’s right — after wrapping the show up its run across the pond on the BBC, the hit makeup reality competition show dropped a whole new season on Netflix. And if you thought Seasons 1–3 showed off some killer looks, just wait to see what the MUAs( Make-Up Artists) have in store for you in Season 4.

The Social Media Campaign :

Lisa is a 26-year-old schoolteacher who is a savant at using TikTok racking up views as high as the books on her desk at school. Like a number of other competitors this season, Lisa is a self-taught MUA who is passionate about the craft. Follow Lisa on Instagram @lisaartistryy

Her Social Media Campaign winning look is just divine with flicks of silver at both sides of the eye, with a natural freckled skin puffed to perfection with a plumped natural lip for a global fitness brand “ Gymshark”.

Yong Chin

Yong-Chin inner strength look/UK Entry

Yong-Chin is a 25-year-old creative director and part-time nanny. Her makeup style, which ranges from more traditional beauty looks to trippy colorscapes, often finds points of reference in her Scottish and Asian heritage.

Her inner strength look is a beautifully rich cracked open geode that emits her colour scape to the eye of the observer like her multi-faceted personality highlighted with clever use of the surrounding black giving it a celestial space rock look.

Rachel

Rachel is a 24-year-old “beauty content queen” who also works as a pharmaceutical sales rep. Once she’s off the clock, though, she turns out content for her YouTube page (including behind-the-scenes looks at Glow Up).

three-shade

A 90’s raver is the creative brief with DJ Jayda G. for Rolling Stone UK. This is my favourite make-up assignment as I would like to be a professional part of the Magazine space.

The make-up is just simply stunning soft pink eye-shadow covering the eyelid with an accentuated black liner on the top with a three shade brow nudish lip with gloss and a similar colour eye shadow blush to highlight the cheekbones.

A 3D Remembrance Statue

The free-flowing strokes of blue and red and the juxtaposition with a silver chrome is a unique take on formulating an Instagram filter.

Life-Like Avatar

Lisa’s Digital Warrior

Lisa chose to create a digital warrior for online positivity against hate and troll culture. The magenta and cyan airbrushed wonder is just simply stunning to look at with accentuated cheeks and prosthetics beautifully incorporated into the whole look.

The fish-gill prosthetic does a wonderful job of projecting a fake smile.
